The camera reads an actual QR code — generated by the app or printed from an imported roll — not a handwritten label. If a code can't be scanned, typing it by hand works the same way; there's no OCR step guessing at a photo. Locations are named places (yard, kiln, dry storage, dock), not GPS coordinates or a visual yard map.
